I personally did not expect Obama to win with
such a huge margin 303 to 203 (in some states voting is still going on)
electoral college votes, but am happy for him, for USA and for the world.
World economics markets don’t like
uncertainty and Obama brings continuity of his policies and therefore a degree
of certainty. Also, as I said before, he had a daunting task when he first
became President in 2008. But a word of caution - don’t expect miracles from
him, though I can say that when he demits office in 2016, GDP growth will be
back to 3.5 to 4 percent for the US, although his first two years from now on
will be very challenging.
