It
was not the 6 billion dollar expense but what amazed me is the very high end
technology used in the elections.
Thousands
of IT professional in both Obama and Romney camps spread across the states
collated data about local voters, not only about their voting preferences but also
about their lifestyle, their family background, their education, even their
food tastes. This data was being flashed around the country in real time, which
helped them target voters, who would support their candidates and, so, they
could target them. And it did help greatly.
