Diwali & Corruption

Happy Diwali to one and all and a prosperous year ahead. Deepavali represents  celebration of the victory of good (Lord Rama) over evil (Ravana) as the Lord returns to Ayodhya.
Today, unfortunately, the ten-headed Ravana has once again come to rule not only Ayodhya, but also over the entire country.
India has been rated as the third most corrupt countries out of about 168 countries rated by an International Agency. The first 2 most corrupt countries are too small and hardly known. Therefore India can be said to be the most corrupt.
There is corruption not only amongst politicians but also doctors, lawyers, judges, police and every administrative department of the government and even private companies right from the peon, clerk to the top.
Corruption is an hydra-headed evil like Ravana, therefore God help us. But I believe that young India can kill this hydra-headed monster.
So, on that optimistic note, I wish you all a very Happy Diwali.
